Nice Guys Finish Last

Many people who know me say I'm one of the "nicest" guys you'll ever meet. I'm kind, respectful, polite, self-aware, considerate, and I try to be as "good" as possible. Unfortunately there are times that hasn't worked in my favor, particularly when those with a malicious agenda try to take advantage of me (and often succeed).

Since getting a nice confidence boost from therapy, I've decided I'm tired of being nice. I'm tired of people-pleasing. I'm tired of being walked on. I'm tired of disregarding my needs to keep the peace. No more Mr Nice Guy, hence why my song selection "nice guys finish last".
